We welcome submissions in the following categories:

Fiction

1-2 pieces, up to a total of 2000 words. No minimum.

12pt. Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing, standard literary layout with indented paragraphs, file format .doc or .docx, all pieces within a single document.

​

Poetry

1-3 pieces, up to 40 lines each. No minimum.

12pt. Times New Roman, no restrictions on spacing or layout, file format .doc or .docx, all pieces within a single document.

​

Script

1-3 pieces, up to 30 pages each. No minimum.

12pt. Courier, double spaced, file format Final Draft or equivalent (for screenplays)/.doc/.docx. Separate files for each piece.

​

Essays

1-3 pieces, 500-1000 words.

12pt, Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing, file format .doc or .docx, each piece submitted as a separate document.

We are only seeking essays on film and theatre theory, including work relating to: directors; actors; writers; cinematographers; production design; set design; theatre lighting; and scores/composers. We are not looking for film/play reviews.

Visual art and photography

1-5 pieces.

High resolution, .jpeg only.

Simultaneous submissions are accepted. If your work is accepted elsewhere, please email us to withdraw (and so we can offer our congratulations!)

All work must be your own. Pieces created created wholly or in part by A.I. are not accepted.

​

We do not accept work glorifying bigotry or discrimination in any form.

​

All written work must be in English.

​

We do not accept previously published pieces.

​

You may submit across multiple categories, but please only once each per submission call.
