Romy (she/they) completed her MA Creative Writing at the University of Chichester, achieving Distinction. Her areas of focus are fiction (both long- and short-form) and poetry.
Her poetry has appeared in publications including Transients Magazine, Impostor Lit, Moss Puppy Magazine, Cosmic Daffodil Journal, Gossamer Arts, and Musing Around At Midnight (Cozy Ink Press), among others, and she received an Honourable Mention for the Dark Poets Prize 2024. Her fiction, tending toward the dark or weird, can be found in publications such as NECKSNAP, The Morgue, Partially Shy, Children of the Dead: Shadow Playground (Wicked Shadow Press) and Night Terrors (Acid Bath Publishing).
Her work frequently tends towards dark topics and queer themes, and she has a strong academic interest in fairy tales; her BA dissertation examined feminism in modern retellings of Little Red Riding Hood, and her MA portfolio included a poetry collection based on Grimm's Fairy Tales.

Roger Niven

Roger (he/him) is a playwright, screenwriter, and poet. He has worked in theatre as an actor, director, and technician for several companies across the South of England. A former legal advisor, he changed his career in 2022 and focused on writing. His first play, Biting the Hand that Feeds, was entered in the Totton leg of the National Drama Awards.
​
His first love is film, but this most competitive and expensive of industries has yet to take advantage of his talents. He took his MA Creative Writing at the University of Chichester and passed with Distinction in 2024. He is also a professional proofreader and is always open for work.
​
Outside the arts, he loves cricket and boating, the latter being shared with his indefatigable octogenarian Dad. He is single and lives in Hampshire.
